Seventeen years ago I couldn't get out of bed
Now it's a balanced life of surfing and yoga, working four days a week with clients I love, and adventuring with my wife and daughter.
Getting from there to here meant going through my own healing, and learning to master my energy along the way.
This journey profoundly changed my life…
But the shift from ill, lost and stuck to guiding people through their own healing, didn't happen overnight.
Struggling to find my own compass, I went through some really tough times. I spent years searching for people who could guide me through the choppy waters; people who really understood the journey I was on.
Here’s my journey in a nutshell
Childhood
Super sensitive and struggling, but everything looked good on the outside.
My Teens
Overwhelmed by the world and didn’t wanna talk about it, heavily abused drugs and alcohol to bury my feelings, took huge risks with my life.
1993-2003
Discovered energy work and started to do some healing. Studied Qi Gong, Tai Chi, and Massage Therapy. Became a Reiki Master. Dove deep into yoga teachings.
2003
Married my wife Liesel, started acupuncture school in Santa Barbara, CA.
2005
Our son Lucas was born and left the world as quickly as he entered it. Through deep grief, our initiation into the world of Spirit really began.
2006
Our daughter Melia was born. What a powerful Soul and teacher
2007
Graduated from acupuncture school and opened my practice. Unprocessed grief + a mold issue + a new baby + seeing more clients than I could energetically handle (I didn’t have the tools yet) = Intense stress! .
2009
Woke up one morning after a long week and couldn’t get out of bed. Dizzy and fatigued, my life quickly imploded.
2010
Moved with my family to Bali in search of healing. Worked with a shaman and found my first energy mastery mentor - embarked on a three year immersive path to recovery.
2013
Returned to California. Started applying all that I’d learned with my clients, while still dancing with fatigue.
2015
A deeply energetic methodology took shape in my work. Energy fully recovered, my business was thriving. My connection with subtle realms of energy came fully online.
2016
Shifted to 4-5 hour workdays. Surf, yoga, and meditation mornings. A new flow of abundant energy emerged.
2017
Immersed in a regular energy practice with my wife Liesel that redefined our relationship and revolutionized our intimacy.
2023 - present
Full life. Consistently seeing my clients resourced, energized, and able to surf the big waves of personal, community, and global intensity.
What I found in those years wasn't a protocol for one condition. It's a way of working with the energy underneath whatever brought a person in. Some come with pain or illness. Some come carrying grief, or anxiety, or a weight that isn't theirs. Some are simply at a threshold and know it. The work meets all of it in the same place.

~Completed post graduate training at The Institute of Classical 5 Element Acupuncture in Los Angeles in 2009.
~Practicing in Ojai since 2013.
~32 years practicing Eastern healing arts - Qi Gong, therapeutic massage & Reiki.
